Staff Plays

Your staff are the action.

Tours booked. Leads verified. Members brought back. Measure the employee on what they actually did, pay them for it that week, and the numbers move.

Every Play already counts these actions to decide what a member earns. Staff Plays point the same count at the person who caused it. No new system, no payroll change, and the board updates as it happens rather than in a Monday email.

What staff are measured on

Their own actions, counted the same way a member’s are.

A staff trigger is an action the employee controls and the club’s own system records. Not a target handed down, not a manager’s judgement at the end of the month.

Staff tracking is not a module you buy on top. The same verified record that decides what a member earns carries the employee who caused it, so turning a Staff Play on is a setting rather than a build.

How it holds up

No staff step to administer. Every staff step to earn.

The two ideas belong together. Nobody on the floor tallies a spreadsheet, approves a payout, or chases a manager for a signature — the club’s own record does the counting. What the employee does get is a board that already knows what they did and a balance that is theirs.

Because the reward waits on a verified action, a competition nobody wins costs nothing to have run.

Most new members from referrals

The headline competition. Every rep is credited for the joins that came out of referrals they set up, so the person who asks the most wins rather than the person with the best territory.

Hot goals on leads from new members

A short sprint on the leads that come from members who just joined, while they are still enthusiastic. Runs a week at a time and resets, so a slow start never sinks the month.

The club’s data is the referee
Every number on the board comes from a report, a scan, or a verified code. No manager decides who won, and no rep can enter their own total.
Visible while it still matters
A rep can see they are one join off the lead on a Thursday afternoon, which is when it changes what they do next.
Paid outside payroll
Earnings land in the employee’s own Vault as spendable value, so a weekly spiff does not need a payroll cycle to arrive.
Reported separately
Staff payouts never mix into member reward totals, so the cost of the competition and the cost of the Play stay legible.
